Biography :
Ellen Christian was born and raised in Louisville. She graduated from Emory University, then returned to Kentucky to help her family restore a 100-year-old horse farm then she married a builder. She got her real estate license in 1978 and her broker's license #175815 in 1980. Ellen built her own home on the Kentucky River and served as Vice President of Horse and Carriage Condominiums in Lexington KY. In the mid 1980's Ellen returned to Louisville to market new condo construction before joining Semonin Realtors for twelve years. In addition, she had five years of commercial real estate doing Sperry Van Ness' auctions. She acquired many designations such as Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource (SFR), ePro Internet Marketing, and is a Graduate of Realtor Institute (GRI) including Specialist in New Home Construction and Relocation. She is a Listing Specialist in East Louisville. She has enjoyed serving as past President of Kappa Kappa Gamma Louisville Alumnae and KYANA Geological Society, Past Treasurer of KY IN PC Users Group and HOA Board. She also was a long time member of the Thoroughbred Club of America and served on the By Laws Committee of the Louisville Artisan's Guild where she is a life member.
